What does a Chiropractor do?

Unfortunately there are too many chiropractors out there who give chiropractic a bad rep. If you ever had a horrendous adjustment, you will know what I am talking about. 

In addition to that, a lot of chiropractors are so convinced that their work cures all. They do not, or only rarely, refer to other professions, where under medical massage. Instead they try to adjust joints that are solidly held together by rock hard muscles, which can be more traumatic than good or it takes a tremendous amount of time for the actual adjustment to take place and hold.

How to know if a chiropractor is good? Check out his reviews, ask friends and family for recommendations and do not, DO NOT, sign up for services in advance, packages or other before you have seen the doctor at least a couple times and know that his adjustments work for you. No matter what discounts and miracles you are promised, do not sign up for months in advance. Most chiropractors do not return your money if you are unsatisfied. A chiropractor should be able to achieve pain relief in a few sessions, not years. A good chiropractor believes that his work speaks for him and won't pressure you in endless repeat appointments.

Do not go to a chiropractor three times a week for weeks on end. I have seen to many clients being robbed and pressured into taking out loans for their treatment because they were promised miracles that never happened.
